The Workshop on Modern Trends in Parameterized Complexity will take place from April 20-23, 2026 at University of Warwick's Centre in Venice. The aim of the event is to bring together leading researchers working in various areas connected to parameterized algorithms and complexity.
The programme will feature tutorials, open problem sessions and research talks showcasing recent advances in the field. The event is supported by the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Venice is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors annually. Renowned globally for its iconic landmarks, including St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, and the Grand Canal, the city captivates with its unique charm. Its network of canals weaves through a labyrinth of streets, lined with charming cafes, gelaterias, restaurants, and boutiques nestled amidst Renaissance palaces and Gothic churches. |
